What is Canyoning? We follow the natural run of the Strub gorge, glide down narrow slides, spring in ice cold pools, and are ready with a line if ones nerve fails! Together we dive into a fascinating world of natural beauty, far from the beaten track. Equipment? Top quality equipment is at your disposal. For each participant on the tour there is a water suit which makes it possible to endure the cool temperatures. Furthermore we have neoprene socks, helmets, belts with karabiner snap links and neoprene gloves. Is Canyoning dangerous? The danger factor when canyoning is high but with sensible planning, good equipment and a qualified guide, the risk is reduced to a minimum. Should the weather not be suitable and the water level in the gorge is too high, then for safety reasons an alternative date will be set for the tour. Is experience necessary? The speed of the tour is determined by the leader of the group according to the physical constitution of the participants. If necessary the guest will be secured by ropes. That means that alpine experience is not necessary. Of course basic condition and skill are taken for granted whereby strong nerves are of prime importance. You should however be a good swimmer.
