Capital of Culture 2024 in Bad Ischl
In 2024, Bad Ischl in the Salzkammergut will be celebrated as the European Capital of Culture, presenting its diverse historical and contemporary art and culture on an international stage. The opening weekend will be kicked off with various events highlighting four programme lines - Power & Tradition, Sharing Salzkammergut, Culture in the River and Globalokal - and there will also be a KulturCard, which offers discounted access to the city.
