Triathlon is becoming more and more popular and is not only trendy among competitive athletes. We would like to convince you of the excellent triathlon training conditions in the Fuschlseeregion and invite you to get to know the racing bike region at Lake Fuschl.

"Don't make every round count. Make every lap count!"

Triathlon-Training

With the sports of swimming, cycling and running, triathletes take care of exactly what many people lack in their everyday lives, regular exercise. In addition to the exercise aspect, triathlon is also about the sporting challenge - against the competition, against oneself or simply against one's own inner pig.

Swimming

Both at the Fuschlsee and at the Hintersee you can manage a comprehensive swim training. With a length of 4.2 km and a width of 800 m, you can easily complete all the distances of the triathlon variants at Lake Fuschlsee. The smaller Hintersee, with its length of 1.4 km and width of 700 m, also offers good training conditions for the triathlon discipline of swimming. From the end of April to the end of September, the outdoor pool of the Fuschlseebad is also available for swim training.

Cycling

As a member of the SalzburgerLand-Salzkammergut racing bike region, the Fuschlseeregion offers the best training opportunities for triathletes and racing cyclists. Look forward to TOP routes between the city of Salzburg and the Salzkammergut. From easy routes along the lakes to challenging tours through the mountains of the Salzkammergut. The choice is large and offers a diverse spectrum of route lengths between 20 and 200 km. In the Fuschlseeregion there are perfect conditions for every level of training.

Running

In the Fuschlsee region there are many attractive running routes to train on. Whether on asphalt, on gravel or in the mountainous alpine terrain of the Osterhorn group - the choice is large and ranges from easy running routes to ambitious trail running routes. The routes around Lake Fuschl and Lake Hintersee are particularly popular for running training. The running circuit around Hintersee is 5 km long. With a length of 11.1 km and few metres in altitude, you can even manage a half marathon if you run around Lake Fuschl twice.
