The Austrian Sled Dog Club (HSV-ÖSHS) is organizing an international race together with the Hintersee community. Several world and European champions will start with their four-legged partners in their respective disciplines.
In sled dog races, the classes are divided according to breed and number of dogs. You can start with a single dog in the skijoering category where the dog supports the musher accordingly, but the musher's athletic condition is also required. These disciplines are limited to a maximum of 2 dogs. From 2 dogs you can start in the sled category, where up to 12 dogs pull the sled. The route lengths vary from 6 to 18 km depending on the discipline and number of dogs.
The myth and fascination of the sled dog can be felt up close and a unique experience in the unique winter landscape.
