The Austrian Sled Dog Sport Club (HSV-ÖSHS) is organizing an international race again. Several world and European champions will take to the start line with their four-legged partners in their respective disciplines.

Fascination for Sled Dogs in Hintersee

From February 6th to 8th, 2026, Hintersee will once again become a meeting point for sled dog lovers from all over Europe.  The 3rd International Sled Dog Race promises excitement and enthusiasm for both spectators and participants. Numerous international top mushers with their teams are expected.

The races will start at 10 am on both days and promise thrilling competitions.

To provide refreshments in between, the "Feichtnstoa Teifin" will offer snacks and warm drinks. Come to Hintersee and spend a very special day with your family filled with exciting competitions and fascinating insights into the world of sled dogs!

On Friday evening, a warm-up party with DJ Chris invites everyone to join in and get cozy for the race weekend in Hintersee.

Notes:
Use the marked parking spaces in front of the village center – a shuttle bus will take you directly to the race activities!
Due to animal welfare regulations, visitor dogs are not allowed in the paddock or along the course (at least 5 meters distance)!
There is a strict leash requirement! Thank you for your understanding!
