Taxes

Due to the Salzburg state tourism law, a local tax is charged for each overnight stay in guest accommodation in the federal state of Salzburg for each person aged 15 and over. In all villages of the Fuschlseeregion, i.e. Ebenau, Faistenau, Fuschl am See, Hintersee, Hof near Salzburg & Koppl, the general overnight tax of € 2.00 has been in force since summer 2018.

Children under the age of 15 are exempt from local taxes. From December 1, 2023, according to the resolution of the general assembly of October 18th 2022 the accommodation tax will be increased to € 2.45.
