With the app Summit Lynx your smartphone will turn into an digital collecting device for hiking destinations!
And it is as easy as it sounds with these few steps:
- Go to the app store of your choice, download and install it on your device. You'll find the app for your device here: Android Play Store & Apple App Store
- Go on a hike of your choice to one of the mountains or lakes of the Fuschlseeregion. Find inspiration here: All hiking routes
- Right at the summit (or hiking destination) open up the app and check in with summit lynx. It does not matter wether or not you have a internet connection. The app will synchronise the entry the next time you have a connection.
- Get one of the rewards as soon as you have enough points. You can have a look at the hiking needles down below.

4 mountains 3 lakes expert
To be a 4 mountains 3 lakes expert, you will need to complete a long distance hike through the Salzkammergut. The 4 mountains 3 lakes tour will guide you to four magnificent peaks in the Fuschlsee-, Wolfgangsee- and Mondseeregion. The different stages of the tour take you to the most beautiful sceneries of the Salzkammergut. Each stage takes about 4 to 5 hours.
To experience nature in a comfortable way you only hike with a day backpack. Your luggage will wait for you at the next accommodation.
