Salzburg Museum Weekend: Future (T)dreams in the Museum

On Sunday, May 25, our hidden gem, the Rauchhaus "Mühlgrub" at Riedl, will open its doors again for interested visitors! (Admission free)

From 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, we will have two herb experts with us who will share interesting knowledge about natural ointment production and the creation of the life elixir "Oxymel." There will also be the opportunity to get hands-on and try your hand at making ointments for home use and creating your own Oxymel tasting sample.

Our curator of the Rauchhaus, Hans Gschaider, will guide the curious from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM through the old walls and looks forward to sharing interesting insights about the history of the house.
During a small active Rauchhaus Olympics in the garden, there will be a chance to prove yourself in milking, horseshoe throwing, and nailing.
Culinary delights this year will be provided by Christine. Delicious bacon breads and fresh steaming farmer's doughnuts will be served, sweet with sugar or savory with sauerkraut.
