Welcome to the Buchenhaus!

Our house is located in a quiet forest edge setting at the foot of the Osterhorn group and is an ideal starting point for hiking and mountain tours in the surrounding mountainous landscape.

The village of Hintersee is about 3 kilometers away. In 30 minutes by car, you can reach the Mozart city of Salzburg or, after 45 minutes, Bad Ischl.

New from May 2025: Guests in the Land Salzburg can use public transport for free. The bus stop is located directly opposite the house entrance.

Our holiday apartment is bright and cozy. It features a living room with a tiled stove, a kitchen with a dining area, up to three bedrooms, 2 toilets, one bathroom, and two extra showers in the bedrooms.

Outside, there is a terrace with a magnificent mountain view and a cozy barbecue area surrounded by a lovely garden!
