1 BUSINESS. 6 GENERATIONS.
The "Tavern to Prunn" was first mentioned in the 15th century. Presumably, the archbishop of Salzburg donated it to the bishop of Lake Chiemsee early 1215 - on the occasion of the foundation of this diocese.
For more than 600 years, today's "Brunnwirt" is a family-owned business and farmhouse. Today, in the sixth generation of the Brandstätter family, Gerti and Johannes are leading the renowned accomodation with six exclusive residential units. Since 2001, Gerti and Johannes and their 3 daughters live in this unique building directly on the picturesque Fuschlsee. Even today, history and tradition are upheld here.
