Welcome to the Hotel Riedlwirt

Our familiar "Hotel-Gasthof am Riedl" lies at the outer edge of the Salzkammergut and is only about 8 km away from the cultural city of Salzburg. The ideal starting point of a relaxed and varied holiday. Starting directly from the hotel's doors, in Summer you can go hiking up to the Nockstein or explore one of the numerous clear lakes with drinking water quality within the radius of 20 km. In Winter it is possible to explore the surroundings on snow-shoes or enjoy a cup of punch or steaming tea at one of the small Christmas markets in the area.

Economy Doppelzimmer

Our Economy-Rooms are situated in the annex building (20 meters away from the main building), whose exterior facade has been refurbished about ten years ago. Here it is particularly quiet. The rooms are a bit smaller as the ones in the main house, but impresses with timeless design and a cozy ambience. They aer ideal for a vacation stop-over or for shorter stays. Please note that due to the carpeted floor, it is not allowed to accomodate dogs in there.

The room's equipment features among other things a seating area, free WIFI, balcony or terrace with a view to the mountain Nockstein as well as shower or bath tub, depending on availability.

As there is an elevator in the annex building, we are also able to offer a hotel room that is suitable for wheelchair users. The room's equipment features among other things a sofa bed with space for one adult or two children.
