If your looking for relaxation you'll find it in our snowy forests.

Faistenau is situated between the "Osterhorngruppe" and lies in about 800meter over the sea.
We're only 30km away from Salzburg city, which is easy to reach.

Our apartment is 8km away from the village Faistenau next to bio-farmer "Laimergut"
Our small animals (cats) waiting for your stroks and the cows for you visit.

During the winter time we have a direct entrance to cross country skiing. Take your time for a Skiing tour or winter hike or visit idelt skiing lifts for chilren and adults with skischools and rental. If your looking for some fun try Snow-Tubing or rent a slay, walk up on the mountain and go down on the toboggan run it's only 10 minutes away from our house.

By car:
Arrival via the West motorway A1, junction Thalgau.
Follow the main road (B 158) in direction to Hof bei Salzburg until you reach the traffic circle “Baderluck”. At the first junction turn into the main road (Hinterseestraße) and after a few kilometers you reach your holiday destination Faistenau.
Follow the main road (Hinterseestraße) and after the super market you reach a crossing. Turn left and follow the main road (Tiefbrunnaustraße) until to the head of the valley. After the district "Tiefbrunnau" you reach the holiday house "Laimerbauer".

With the Postbus
From Salzburgs bus station, opposite the train station, there is a good bus connection into the Fuschlsee region and also to Faistenau. You will find details in internet under www.svv-info.at.

With the Train

By Air
Salzburg Airport lies very close to Salzburg city. The Bus Nr. 2 brings you from the airport to the main station where you change to continue with the post bus.
