A warm welcome to Haus Eva Leitgeb!

Our family-run guest house lies in a sunny position at the entrance to Faistenau, just a 3-minute walk to the centre of the village, and the cross-country skiing trail passes our front door.

In addition to relaxing in a beautiful countryside, here you will find the ideal starting-point for cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, snow shoe hikes, winter walks, tobogganing, snow-tubing - and a host of Enjoy our cross-country skiing trails and in just 3 minutes you will find Sporthaus Auer for the hire of skis.

We offer our guests a cosy lounge with sunny terrace, rooms with shower/WC and Sat. TV. A fridge, a small coffee/tea kitchen, drying room  as well as free W-Lan and parking.

Of a morning you will be tempted with a full breakfast.
Nearby for meals and easily reached on foot are Gasthof Botenwirt, or Cafe Schierl

Accessibility / arrival

By car: Arrival via the West motorway A1, junction Thalgau. Follow the main road (B 158) in direction to Hof bei Salzburg until you reach the traffic circle “Baderluck”. At the first junction turn into the main road (Hinterseestraße) and after a few kilometers you reach your holiday destination Faistenau. Directly on the way to the centre of Faistenau (Dorfstraße) you find on the left side the guesthouse "Eva Leitgeb"! With the Postbus From Salzburgs bus station, opposite the train station, there is a good bus connection into the Fuschlsee region and also to Faistenau. You will find details in internet under www.svv-info.at. With the Train Information and connections can be found under following addresses www.oebb.at or www.bahn.de By Air Salzburg Airport lies very close to Salzburg city. The Bus Nr. 2 brings you from the airport to the main station where you change to continue with the post bus.
