Description:

I am available for guests at any time – either directly in the house or by phone. Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Breakfast is hearty and varied. Parking is available directly at the house. For winter activities, please bring weatherproof shoes; we are directly on the cross-country skiing trail. Pets are not allowed. Local tax and Mobility Ticket are not included in the price.

Haus Hochegg is quietly located on the outskirts of Faistenau, yet central enough to quickly be in the middle of the action. Due to its ideal location, our house is a perfect starting point for winter hikes, snowshoe tours, toboggan outings, and snow tubing. Ski tourers and families will also find optimal conditions in the nearby small ski areas.

Our cozy rooms made of solid wood create a warm, natural atmosphere – just right for unwinding after an active day. A bright winter garden invites you to relax and makes any time of day particularly enjoyable.

Accessibility / arrival

By car: Arrival via the West motorway A1, junction Thalgau. Follow the main road (B 158) in direction to Hof bei Salzburg until you reach the traffic circle “Baderluck”. At the first junction turn into the main road (Hinterseestraße) and after a few kilometers you reach your holiday destination Faistenau. With the Postbus From Salzburgs bus station, opposite the train station, there is a good bus connection into the Fuschlsee region and also to Faistenau. You will find details in internet under www.svv-info.at. With the Train Information and connections can be found under following addresses www.oebb.at or www.bahn.de By Air Salzburg Airport lies very close to Salzburg city. The Bus Nr. 2 brings you from the airport to the main station where you change to continue with the post bus.
