We are an initiative dedicated to the needs of parents and children in Fuschl am See. Our team consists of committed staff members, most of whom are volunteers.
We organize a public space where parents and children can meet. In parent-child groups that take place weekly, the social development of children is promoted. For parents, exchange, further education, and mutual support are a valuable aid in everyday family life. Our goals in parent-child work are: to create a network of social relationships for parents and children, to integrate "newcomers," to promote respectful interaction, to introduce children mindfully and allow them to slowly grow into a group, to mutually support each other in parenting issues and family topics, and to experience the seasons and celebrations throughout the year. The majority of the expenses are financed through participant contributions. We receive support from the community of Fuschl am See, the parish of Fuschl am See, the parent-child center Salzburg, the state of Salzburg, and the Federal Ministry for Social Security, Generations, and Consumer Protection. The events of the parent-child initiative take place in different locations. The main meeting point is at the parish yard in Fuschl am See.The Parent-Child Initiative is an institution that organizes a wide variety of lectures/events.
Therefore, there are no regular opening hours.
