Swimming in Wiestalstausee

The reservoir is only about 3.5 km from the town center of Ebenau (walking and cycling path), bus stop: Stubklammwerk. It extends over the municipalities of Puch b. Hallein, Ebenau, and Adnet. Open access, ideal for swimming and fishing, reachable in just a few meters on foot via the Wiestal state road. Elevation: 550m
Accessible by car and walking time to the lake is about 5-10 minutes

Please do not bring un-dried water sports equipment from other lakes. This helps protect the Wiestal reservoir from Quagga mussels and crayfish plague.
