The Mill
At our Hochmühle in Plainfeld (Salzburg), we produce wheat, durum, rye, and spelt flours, as well as grain grists, in conventional and organic quality. Only grain grown in Austria (except for Kamut) is milled. Since the cultivation of milling grain practically does not take place in Salzburg, the grain mainly comes from Upper and Lower Austria. The organic wheat mostly comes from the Pannonian region, while the organic rye and spelt come from the Inn and Mühlviertel.
Our Store
In our store, you can expect a large selection of different flours in organic or conventional quality. Additionally, you'll find various mueslis and baking ingredients with us. Besides our own products, we also sell spices and teas from Sonnentor, coffee and chocolate from EZA, oils from Hartlieb as well as vinegar and mustard from Fischerauer.
