The 6 stages lead one through some of the loveliest landscapes of the Salzburg Salzkammergut Lake District. From Fuschl am See you hike over the top of the mountain Filbling where you have an amazing view to Faistenau, where you will stay for the night. Along the Lidaun and the mill hiking path to Ebenau and back above huge gorge "Sturbklamm" to Faistenau. The next day starts with a hike to the lake Hintersee where you can relaxe between beautyful mountains. Across Genneralm and Mount Hoher Zinken you will reach the Postalm. After your stay in a mountain pasture the way leads you St. Wolfgang and the mountain "Schafberg" where you will stay for one night. From the top of the mountain down with the historic rack and pinion railway. Hike further via the Almkogel to Lake Mondsee. From here the route continues over the Wartenfels ruins and the Schober mountain back to Fuschl am See.
