Fishers festival at Lake Fuschl

The fishing festival at Schloss Fischerei starts at 11 a.m. with a great celebration in a wonderful lakeside atmosphere featuring the Abersee musicians.

A large selection of fish specialties from local fish grilled and smoked, draft beer, wine & non-alcoholic beverages.

Known beyond the region are the smoked trout and char from Fuschlsee, which can be tasted not only at the annual fishing festivals. With the new construction of the fishery, an attractive event venue has been created that offers an extremely atmospheric ambiance. At the end of August, the fishermen will also be awarded who catch the largest fish during the pike management fishing event.
For those who want to "earn" the culinary delights, this can be combined with a hike around the lake, much of which is undeveloped and offers wonderful views of the lake and the surrounding landscape. A ride on the "Fuschlerin," a traditional wooden boat with an electric motor (thus silent), is also recommended. This goes directly to the fishery.
