Driving down of the cattle from the mountain pasture Gruberalm

The farmer move represents every year a great solemnity in alpine summer life! Because if the animals have survived the summer accident-free, they are festively decorated and driven to the valley with a big party. Every year, the farmer move of the Gruberalm forms a fixed point in Hintersee.

From 11:00 am you can fortify yourself with hearty regional food and listen to the last folk music.
At 10:00 am, the cattle will be decorated and at around 2:30 pm the alpine pastures will go down to the valley with their animals.

From the Lämmerbach car park, a well-marked path leads to Gruberalm / Grubenbachhütte (approx. 45 minutes).
