The carnival strongholds in the Salzkammergut are clearly in the inner Salzkammergut and in the region Traunsee. On Shorve Tuesday (Faschingsdienstag) an annually Ebenseer Fetzenzug takes place in Ebensee. There you meet people with wood larvae masks in shred dresses. In Bad Ischl, the carnival parade on Shrove Tuesday is already well known. Throughout the city a parade with many colorful carts and disguised groups takes place.
