Advent market in Ebenau

As one of the oldest Christmas markets in the SalzburgerLand, the Ebenau Advent Market will again take place this year over 4 Advent weekends. Let yourself be enchanted by the special atmosphere of this small but beautiful Advent market. The fountain garden, illuminated by the lights of countless Christmas trees, traditionally provides the setting for the lovingly decorated huts.

On the opening day, November 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM, the traditional "opening ceremony" of the uniformed rifle corps will take place.

Preview of the program:

• "Advent Blowing" with brass players from the Ebenau music band Nativity exhibition
• Visit from St. Nicholas and Krampus Run of the Plötz Pass (on November 30)
• Guided tours in the museum in the Fürstenstöckl
• Living nativity scene with donkey and sheep
• Blacksmith crafting lucky charms for the new year
• Angel carolers visit the Advent market
• "Advent Singing" of the Ebenau singing group under the direction of Ulf Derschmidt
• Guided tours through the historical water tunnel of the former brass factory with Mr. BM a.D. Hannes Schweighofer
• and the year-round choir Ebenau getting into the Christmas spirit.
