Photo Museum/Marble Palace

The Photo Museum of the province of Upper Austria is regarded as one of the most attractive
museums in Austria not least because of its location in the imperial park and its specific architecture.
The museum also houses one of the most important collections of historic photos going back to
Professor Hans Frank. This was bought by the province of Upper Austria in the 1970s and ever since then the Photo Museum has been run by the Society of Friends of Photography and its History.
