Hikeable valley

Packed your rucksack? Put on your hiking boots and enjoy nature at its best? Then off to Faistenau and Hintersee. The mountains of the Osterhorn group are already waiting!

The hiking trail leads up to the summit via forest roads, forest paths and steep tracks. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with the most beautiful views of the Salzkammergut. Before returning to the valley, a stop at one of the surrounding huts is a must. Typical alpine delicacies, a hearty snack and cool drinks strengthen you for the descent.

But hiking doesn't always mean going up the mountain; it can also be a leisurely round around the lake Hintersee or to the Felsenbad to cool off on a hot summer day and enjoy the fantastic scenery all around.
