Tips for snowshoe hikers
------------------------

Snowshoe hiking is not difficult in principle, but there are still a few things you should bear in mind when you go off-road as a beginner. Snowshoeing is mostly done in the great outdoors, away from trails and pistes. That's why, in addition to the appropriate equipment, you should also have knowledge of tour planning, avalanche knowledge and a good degree of orientation for snowshoe hikes.

In addition to snowshoes and poles, equipment includes ankle-high, waterproof hiking boots, appropriate sporty winter clothing and, in alpine terrain, avalanche transceiver equipment.

When there is no snow or it is only slightly snow-covered, winter hikes are very relaxing.
