For a successful hiking tour, we also recommend paying attention to the equipment. Shoes that pinch, blisters on the soles, or wet and cold fingers and toes can leave a bad memory of the most beautiful hike.

Therefore, we recommend the following equipment for our snowshoe or winter hike:

• winter hiking shoes, warm winter clothing, hat and gloves
• use of snowshoes/studded boots/ice spikes depending on weather/snow conditions
• rental equipment such as snowshoes/sticks not included, available at e.g., Sporthaus Auer
