The mountain pasture is located at 1300 metres above sea level and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the Osterhorn group. The mountain bike trail also leads directly past. Family Steinberger offers typical alpine delicacies an fresh drinks. For children there is a playground in front of the hut. The hut offers 5 sleeping rooms, shower & toilet and is operated by a powerful pholovotaikan system for power supply. Bed linen is available, please bring your own towel with you. You can reach the hut on foot via a forest road or the old Almsteig trail in about 1 hour. If you want to drive to the hut by car, you can use the forest road, the toll fee is Euro 8,- and has to be paid at the barrier. (in 2,- Euro, 1,- Euro and 0,50 Cent Euro coins).
