The signs are only in German. Go on a discovery tour and learn interesting facts about life and work on a farm. Our farmers in the country do valuable work for us and our landscape. They cultivate meadows and forests, care for their animals and produce valuable food: milk, butter, cheese, eggs, meat, flour and much more. But how well do you know about everyday life on a farm? How much grass does a cow eat, how often are cows milked, how often does a chicken lay an egg? These and many more interesting questions and the appropriate answers can be found, lovingly illustrated and vividly presented, along a circular route through the village. Directions: We start directly in the village, the first board is between the municipal office and the playground. Then we walk down the village street to the fire station. There we turn into the Wiesenweg, which leads us past two more signs, outside the SPAR to the Hinterseestraße/Ramsaustraße junction. We cross the main road and immediately find the next information board. We continue to the Brandstatt farmer and thus to the next sign. Then we turn right, past the blue chapel and at the next fork we take a right into Langfeldstraße. After a few metres we will again find a sign. Then we continue and cross the main road again and keep to the right. Lohstraße with its two signs leads us back to the centre of the village until we reach the childcare centre, where the last sign is located. Those who have read all the signs carefully can certainly solve the little riddle. Particularly clever hikers pick up the appropriate flyer at the tourist office in Faistenau before setting off and then solve the quiz questions on the spot.
