The Schloss Fuschl Fishery is beautifully located right by Lake Fuschl with the world-famous Schloss Fuschl in the background. For decades, the Schloss Fishery has been offering locals and guests perfect quality fish specialties that can also be enjoyed on-site. The smoked fish, enjoyed right by the water, is known beyond the borders of the country. The fishery presents itself very authentically and is a lovely spot by Lake Fuschl for all guests and locals to linger and enjoy the renowned and delicious oven-warm smoked fish. With the newly built fishery, we can offer high-quality fresh and smoked fish specialties year-round, and there is also the possibility to dine in bad weather, allowing guests to enjoy a smoked fish snack in a cozy atmosphere with a grand panoramic view of Lake Fuschl. Furthermore, we comply with all official requirements set for us as well as the food law requirements for a fishery operation. Lake Fuschl, at the entrance to the Salzkammergut, located 20 km east of Salzburg, covers an area of 267 hectares between Hof bei Salzburg and Fuschl am See.
