Gasthof Alte Tanne

Welcome at the guesthouse "Alte Tanne" in Hof bei Salzburg.

The inn built in typical local style is located between the "Mozart town" of Salzburg and right in front of the gates of the Salzkammergut region and thus offers to the guests ideal possibilities for hiking tours, excursions and water sport in the nearby Salzkammergut lakes.
Our comfortably furnished rooms with Bath/Shower/WC, televison and balcony offer a pleasant stay to the guests at every season.
For the bodily welfare of our guests, we provide a range of meals originating from traditional Austrian kitchen, supplied with products from our own agriculture and a house butcher's shop. For a healthy start in the day we serve homemade sausage and jams as well as cheese and eggs from our own chicken.
A big playground is open in summer to our small guests and in winter the childeren have the possibility to use our play corner.
In the summer season numerous lakes and mountains are in close vicinity and the bus stop is only 40 metres away.
Just like many of our guests, we too are a small familiy, so we take a rest on Monday and Tuesday. On these days you will, of course, still receive breakfast, but our restaurant will be closed.
